Science Slam 5

Science Slams are a form of edutainment; an event where scientists attempt to present their own research work in under 10 minutes to a non-expert audience in an entertaining way.

For the University of Glasgow’s 5th annual Science Slam I used the letter ‘V’ as the identity for the event. The letter V is both the roman numeral for 5 and also the scientific symbol for voltage. The tagline ‘High Voltage’ was developed to represent the chaotic spirit of the event and I created a series of bold, energetic and electric graphic patterns for use in all brand applications. Applications included for the event included; brochures, posters, badges, flyers, tape, pencils and t-shirts. This project was completed by me while working with the team at Wonder Works.
